Built by someone who's been in your shoes

Revenant Systems is run by Dan Jacobs, and the first client was his own company. Dan spent years running a production business in Las Vegas — juggling gear, crews, quotes, and invoices across spreadsheets, texts, and memory. Exactly the chaos most small businesses live with, because "real" custom software cost more than a work truck.

So he built his own: a platform that ran the whole operation, from rentals to invoicing. Then other business owners saw it and asked for their own version. When AI made it possible to build that caliber of software in weeks instead of months, Revenant Systems became the whole job. Here's that origin story.
